Enrichment Therapy & Learning Center provides individualized speech therapy, reading support, tutoring, and executive functioning services for children and teens in Johnston and North Liberty, IA, with virtual services also available. Meet the team and learn what drives our work.
Our Mission
Enrichment Therapy & Learning Center's mission is to give hope and support to families by helping children of all ages achieve their God-given potential. We provide an individualized approach to improve each child's ability to communicate, socialize and achieve academic growth. We are a bridge for success.
What We Offer At Enrichment Therapy & Learning Center
Our team offers speech and language therapy, dyslexia and reading support, tutoring, and executive functioning support. In addition, we provide early intervention and feeding and swallowing therapy for younger children. Because many children benefit from more than one service, our team works together to build a plan that fits.
Tutoring
Our learning specialists provide individualized academic support in areas such as reading, writing, spelling, and math to strengthen foundational skills, confidence, and independence.
Dyslexia
We provide individualized, evidence-based dyslexia and reading intervention to strengthen foundational reading and spelling skills while building confidence.
Speech Sound Disorders
Speech sound disorders such as articulation, phonological, and childhood apraxia of speech are treated at ETLC with one-on-one therapy unique to each child's needs.
Social Skills
At ETLC, we offer treatment for children who struggle with social skills in a one-on-one setting in an environment that is safe and nurtures growth.
Language Disorders
We provide individualized, one-on-one therapy to support children with receptive and expressive language challenges. Our therapy builds strong communication skills, so children can better understand others, express themselves, and thrive in everyday interactions.
Executive Functioning
Children and teens learn practical strategies for planning, organization, time management, working memory, task initiation, and self-monitoring. As a result, they gain greater independence.
How Enrichment Therapy & Learning Center Works With Families
We believe families are part of the team. First, we listen to your concerns and learn about your child. Next, we complete an evaluation and explain the results in plain language. Then, we build an individualized plan together and review progress along the way. As a result, parents always know what we are working on and how to help at home. When needed, and with your permission, we also collaborate with your child's school.
