Congratulations, Caleb!

ETLC Student of the Month

Megan and Elizabeth are proud to introduce Caleb Gilbaugh as the October Student of the Month at our North Liberty office!

Caleb is 11 years old and loves to play football and practice Tae Kwon Do. He always has a positive attitude and a smile for all at ETLC. Caleb is a kind and caring student and always concerned about the well-being of his peers.  He is the first to lend a hand in a time of need.  

In his individual sessions with Megan, he has shown amazing growth in his ability to formulate grammatical sentences and auditory memory skills. He has recently mastered all 1000 of Fry’s Sight Words and continues to master new vocabulary words! 

In the LEAP classroom with Elizabeth, he is making great gains in both reading and math.  His reading accuracy has improved greatly.  Recently, he read a passage with 99% accuracy!  In math, Caleb recently mastered several of his subtraction, multiplication, and division families.  He is well on his way to mastering them all and meeting his goal! 

Caleb is a star student! We are all very proud of him here at ETLC.
