March is National Reading Month! This is a great time to instill a love of reading in your child. Busy schedules and end-of-day energy levels can often interfere with taking the time to read with your child, but research shows that reading for just 20 minutes per day can have drastic effects on your child.
To help motivate your child to read more throughout the month of March, try printing out the calendar at the link below with a reading activity to complete each day. Activities such as reading in a tent with a flashlight, or reading jokes to a friend, are sure to help your child enjoy reading! If your child is a student here at Enrichment Therapy & Learning Center, pick up one of our Literacy Awareness Month Challenge cards to complete to be entered to win a set of Legos or Magna-Tiles. Rewards can be so motivating for children, so try setting up your own rewards at home for completing the daily reading activity.

Weโd love to see what youโre doing this month to celebrate readers. Share a picture or video on social media and use #ETLCReads so we can follow along!
