Calvin is such a hard worker. He always has a good attitude and tries his best. When I first met Calvin, it was difficult to get him to talk, but now it is difficult to get him to stop talking! I am so proud of him and all he has accomplished.
We have seen so much growth from Calvin since starting Enrichment Therapy with Ms. Lisa. When we started speech, Calvin was very quiet at school and with his peers, seldom sparking up a conversation and parallel playing with his classmates. Calvin received specially designed instruction for reading, writing and math. Fast forward a year and Calvin is a different kid! He has exited his math and writing goal and is almost reading at a kindergarten level. He engages with his classmates, participates during whole group instruction, and comes home to share everything he has learned for the day. Ms. Lisa has done a great job building Calvin’s confidence. She uses Calvin’s interests to engage him, gives us tips and suggestions to work on at home with him and encourages him to keep going, even when he does not want to. We are thrilled with Calvin’s growth and his new love of reading and writing. We are thankful for the Enrichment Therapy family and look forward to working with Ms. Lisa as she continues to support Calvin in his speech.
