Congratulations, Aidan!
ETLC Student of the Month
Urbandale Location
Nominated by Jaimi Bird, M.A.,CCC-SLP
I am proud to introduce Aidan Weitl as our March student of the month at our Urbandale office! Aidan is 9 years old and is in the 2nd grade, he is a hard worker and always does his best. Aidan always brings a lot of fun and energy to the office during his sessions! He has made great progress across all of his goal areas.
Aidan is a very deserving candidate for March's Student of the Month Award. Way to go Aidan!
I have seen tremendous growth and Aidan‘s confidence, reading, and pronunciation since he
Aidan's Mom
started speech therapy. Both his teacher and reading teacher have commented on how much
improvement he has made in a short period of time. He now enjoys reading and has much less
anxiety when we sit down to read a book. He no longer looks at how many pages he hast to get
through, but rather digs in and is excited. He was super excited to tell me the other day that he
finished reading his first chapter book at school. It was such a huge accomplishment and the
only thing better than hearing him tell me was seeing a huge smile of pride and confidence. The
work Aidan has done with Jaimi has been a huge game-changer for him in terms of how the rest
of second grade has gone and how he will begin third grade. Jaimi is able to build trust very
easily and makes the work that they do together fun. We are so thankful for all she’s done to
help Aidan succeed!
