Congratulations Michael! ETLC Student of the Month

We are excited to introduce Michael Lehman as our December ETLC Student of the Month at the Urbandale office!

Michael is a new member of our LEAP classroom this fall and has received speech-language therapy here at ETLC since last April. He is 8 years old and enjoys playing video games, playing outside, and imaginary play.

Michael always has a great attitude and is ready to learn. His imagination brings joy to those around him and makes simple tasks more fun. In his speech-language sessions, Michael has improved his ability to follow auditory directions by passing level 1 and level 2 directions in the auditory processing book. He has also worked hard on his speech sounds and visualizing skills. In the LEAP classroom, Michael has mastered many reading and spelling sight words, is quickly mastering many math fact families, and has shown improvements in his writing as well. He is a joy to have in class and his classmates enjoy his friendly personality.

We are so proud of you, Michael. Keep up the great work!
